Important advisory for media wishing to cover President Clinton’s talk at Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass. on Dec. 3, 2007

President Clinton will speak beginning at about 2 p.m. in the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center. The former President is visiting Brandeis to deliver the first lecture for the school’s new Eli J. Segal Citizen Leadership Program. For details go to www.brandeis.edu/clintontalk

Only mainstream media representatives with press credentials will be considered for admission into the venue. A media badge and parking pass will be issued at the venue on the day of the event.

Reporters and still and video photographers will be required to remain within designated areas inside the venue. All requests for admission must be received via email before noon EST on Friday Nov. 23, 2007.

To be considered for credentials, media must email Dennis Nealon at nealon@brandeis.edu and provide their name, title, media affiliation and phone number. The subject line should read: “Clinton credentials.” Requests will be answered via return email.

On the day of the event, members of the media must arrive at the venue’s designated media entrance (near the main entrance) NO LATER THAN 12 p.m. to check in and receive a media badge. All media equipment will be subject to security screening prior to admission to the venue.

To park at the venue, media must present credentials and be on the approved list. Parking is in the Athletics Dept. Staff lot.
